Don't think they realise the back and forth across the midfield after a goal is only the tactic if England score the fking goal.

So slow again, absolute ste.

Guéhi will end up getting sent off trying to stop a second, I can see it now

Do they practice crosses into the box?

Further team orders revealed:

Do not pass the ball forwards. Wherever possible pass backwards and retreat into your own half. Invite pressure.

Definitely a case of “the sum of the parts is somewhat less than the whole”

What is the combined value of the England team compared to Slovakia?

I think Southgate has had his time and I say that as someone who has always been a big fan of his as a player, captain and manager.

This is a more open game. The theory was we'd be able to cut open a more open game. We just keep stopping and looking around helplessly.

I'm sure I'm surprised as everyone by this performance, given that we've had such a settled team for the last 4 matches.....

I can’t believe how awful we have been in this tournament. How is it even possible for a team with so much talent on the pitch to be so crap?

Are any of the players (apart from Bellingham) actually arsed whether we win or lose? Tactics woeful, almost like they have been told to make it as boring as possible, has anyone told them they can run?

Out of all the games I’ve watched at this Euros, England are by far the most boring!

As much as I love Tripps, he's not a left back, mainly because, well, he has no left foot.

We desperately need players who can stretch the opposition. Or a system and instructions to do so.

One nil down and we're as ponderous as at any other time.

Just tuned in, there’s something wrong with the scoreboard as England seem to be trying to run down the clock time wasting but it shows Slovakia are winning?
