John Stones: we left everything out there on the pitch.

Christ.
Not sure where, as I couldn't see anything on that pitch. Maybe the training pitch?

The worse of it all is that Southgate will truly see this as job done. Topped the group! aren't we doing well :/

Anyway, has anyone actually got any idea what time we’re playing on Sunday? There used to be wall-charts everywhere you looked but I’ve not seen a single one.
Fingers crossed for the last match because of prior plans.

Right, I'll attempt to put some positivity to the poor overall performances:

- we held on to the ball and passed it BETTER than the last game, which was just awful. Final ball very poor but at least something to build on by at least retaining possession better.
- the subs seemed to make a difference to our play; we seemed more direct and were at least getting in behind even though we barely had a shot all game
- we finished top avoiding a lot of the big boys on the left side of the draw who'd eat us alive right now
- Guehi
- we have at least five days peace before having to endure watching England again and hopefully for Gareth to have a real think about who should start.

jeez those pundits are now scared to say anything now.
kane off.
Watkins on
palmer on
Eze on
gordon on

Saka meh
Bellingham is a spoilt cry baby
stones too rigid
rice predictable

foden, sort your st out
gallagher will run all day and feed off palmer
Eze will run at them at every chance
Gordon will take players on.....

Get these old farts OFF

Same turgid mess.

We are through, so try and play a more adventurous team. Load the forwards and midfield

Gordon, Palmer, Foden, Mainoo, rest Bellingham and use Eze. If we need subs then Bowen and Watkins..

At least if we lose, he gets credit for being a bit more ambitious

if we're hell bent of playing the double pivot malarkey, it rice and…………. arnold? no. gallagher? no mainoo? maybe. bellingham? probably should be.

it's called a double pivot (i hate that term) for a reason. the team revolves around it, and if it isn't working……………...

Cheers. That scuppers me. Why do people plan weddings when there are big football matches on? Best mate got married on the day we thrashed Germany 5-1 and now I’ll be driving home from the airport for this one.
