Yeah sad to hear, his team's era was the one when I first started supporting Arsenal.

No Englishman has scored more PL goals without playing for England (haven't fact checked this but gooner mate is usually right).

His 83 Premier League goals (he also got 24 in the top flight before 1992) make Campbell the competition's highest-scoring English player never to have won an international cap,

A true gentleman by all accounts and taken far too early.

He was. His whole family are, they're very close friends of my wife's family.

I met him and Lee Dixon at an event organised by a friend of mine many years ago. He was really generous with his time, a really funny, charming man. I have been to a few of those sorts of events, but I remember how genuinely engaging he was. And a brilliant player, of course. RIP Super Kev.

Looked like Tierney took a knock last night and was stretchered off. Hopefully nothing to serious. Not that is will effect his place in the squad as I do not think he's in Arteta's plans.

Didn't take a knock as such, he took an awkward tumble and looks to have done his hamstring again or other leg muscle......looked horrible when they replayed it in slow motion frown...... and was no wonder he was stretchered off. He looked to be in some pain.

He landed straight leg and damaged his knee, hope it is not ACL but it looks like it.

"Arsenal set to sign Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres"... so we'll see the welcome to Chelsea announcement shortly...

And we're getting Nico Williams too rolleyes I really should take up football rumours as a job Arsenal hot on the trail of [Insert player in a bit of form at tournament] initiating talks with [insert agent/ club/ his nan] and also do the same with each EPL club "fighting" over the player...
