VAR has totally killed the game of football. A once enjoyable sport has stooped to the depths now after watching this crock of s
t tonight. Both McCoist and Clive seemed totally despondent with it also. I’ve watched my last game until they get rid of this diabolical nannying of the game.

VAR ruining the game, ably supported by English officials.
Completely wrecked what looked like a classic match in the making.
Offside is b
ks. No way can they be that accurate about when the ball was played. Handball decision even worse. You may as well just start kicking the ball at opposing players rather than try to score. Penalty should have been disallowed as Havertz stopped his run to the ball.

The American ref in the studio explained the laws of the game very well - and how Oliver was basically hand tied. The laws are now an ass. Ange said it right - VAR is now taking refereeing away from the referees. Once Oliver was called to the screen, he had no choice but to go with it - those are the rules. That semi automatic offside needs recalibrating so it's back to being near "clear daylight" and not measuring and comparing extremities minutely. It's crap. That handball law likewise - there is no way the Danish player could have had his hand anywhere else at that time.
Tonight just highlighted how crap the laws have got. So many disallowed goals in this tournament now, it's really spoiling it.
