He seems to have cut costs and improved revenue for Roma who were financially in a similar situation to us, so at least he's got experience of running a st show laugh

Has invested in youth which is always good to hear. As is that info from Aeropilot, having grown up on air bases myself I'm quite partial to old planes smile
I’ve read that there may be an exclusivity agreement in a day or two, I guess until that happens we shouldn’t get carried away, but this looks like a good outcome for us. Certainly preferable to 777 and MSP (who are still being touted), fingers crossed.

Hearing that Kevin Campbell has passed away, no age. What a great player he was for us, he really injected spirit and life into the team. RIP Super Kev.

I always associate him with Everton and always enjoyed his radio appearances I heard in recent times, a larger than life character, no age.

thats really sad news, he was terrific for us and instrumental in keeping us up. He seemed to leave a positive mark at every club he played for and loved by all. he was a fantastic player and a better person.

Sucha tragedy.

RIP Super Kev x

Not that we'll need it this year... but 3 of our last 4 fixtures next season are fairly kind.

I mean, it's not like we'll get another round or 2 of points deductions is it?

I see we've also signed a young lad from Villa for £10m. We're either a) confident on the PSR front or b) fking stupid. Not sure which...

Hopefully confident of flogging Onana.

That 10m won't be upfront either will it? In any case can be amortizated over his contract so only 2m a year assuming he's signed for 5 years

Great bit of business

Rumours of Real being in for Branthwaite (unfortunately, but hopefully we'll get market value now)

Is it true the new owners are writing off / paying all the debt? Massive if so. Figured they'd just restructure it...

It’s a shame our last game at Goodison is against Southampton, I’ve nothing against them but was hoping it might be Villa or Arsenal as they’re among the oldest top flight fixtures.

Moshiri did this for us hence we don't owe scumbags like Philip Green but now the club owe him. Cough Usmanov.

I assume our new owners will mortgage us up against BMD once it's complete. Restructuring expensive debt against the house.

Looks like a good move.

Shane the last game at Goodison is against those tory muppets but hey ho. I was in Liverpool last week and seen BMD with my own eyes. It's magnificent! The drone shots on YouTube are great but seeing it in person is something else.

Friedkin's bid is all equity, no loans. I've read that he plans to clear some of the debt and restructure some of the rest on to lower interest rates from the pay day loans we have now.

It's sounding positive so far, and I donr think we'd be making any signings now if it wasn't going through. Famous last words I know...

It's looking like we're getting closer to Friedkin buying the club out.

In other good news the new kit deal is worth 2-3 more than the outgoing deal, Castore will be paying us £20m a year and have an option to increase that figure when BMD opens. I'm not sure I can cope with several good news stories coming out about Everton. I think I need to lie down for a bit

DCL to leave? frown I'll be sad, but we have to cash in if he doesn't sign a new contact. Not sure what he's been offered but he's looking for a pay rise to 130k, which is a bit punchy considering his injury and goal scoring record over past 2 years.

Looks like some sort of swap deal is on the cards. Newcastle want DCL. We want their winger, Minteh. Not heard of him?

Would sort PSR out though I guess, although that's already possibly sorted by the sale of Dobbin to Villa? (3.5m deficit according to "in the knows")

Branthwaite to stay? (Please)

We'll win the lot next year smile

Whoever buys DCL is taking on a gamble if the pay big bucks, and to be honest if we only get low ball offers we should keep him

He's out of contract next summer and always broken. Bar the Don Carlo era, he's never been prolific. I'd fk him off even if we got chump change for him
