Can’t do any harm though here’s hoping. Red Bull do seem to have a habit of being successful

I reckon they owe us for relieving us of good money for Aaronson and Kristensen.

I joked a couple of years ago we might be renamed RB Leeds soon, with Marsch, Aaronson, Kristensen, Wober and Adams being ex Red Bull, and it seemed like Marsch was linked with trying to sign some other ex players of his.

waccoe having a bit of a meltdown as usual.

I recall way back in the day people getting upset at the word 'red'

Still the same.

I can see where some are coming from as I'd hate to see RB Leeds, but it can't happen over here as there are rules against it. Plus I can't see the 49ers selling out completely.

Archie Gray seemingly off to Brentford. We're officially back to a championship club and even Brentfords feeder club.

Doesn't even sound like Archie wants to go but apparently the owners want/need the money for him; there are rumours the likes of Spurs might also try to sign him but one way or another it's looking like he won't be wearing a Leeds shirt next season.

Sadly this sort of thing was always likely when we failed to bounce back to the PL and I fear we'll lose several more of our better players over the summer. That means we're going to need some good recruitment if we're going to compete for promotion - if that doesn't happen it's back to mid-table Championship mediocrity which is basically where we were when Bielsa arrived six years ago. As you say, FFS.....

I only saw that on a Leeds troll twitter account, not seen that from anyone reputable.

Not coming from anyone reliable yet but it has been repeated a few times on Waccoe.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest, wouldn't be a good look for the 49ers unless they get a swap deal with Barca for Raphinhia.

Leaked redbull red logo on the kit too...

Selling a player like Archie Gray probably won't sit well with Farke, especially if the player doesn't want to leave and is effectively being pushed out by the owners for financial reasons. So if he then gets the vibe more sales of key players are likely - and he won't see much of the proceeds to invest in replacements - it wouldn't surprise me if he walks. In actual fact it would surprise me more if he stayed in that scenario...

Archie leaving is a perfect illustration of how crap it can be being a Leeds fan.

I get it if you support a huge club you might struggle to get tickets to games, and I get that if you support a small club the bigger clubs poach your best players from you. But why choose when Leeds give you both!

We've got the support that goes with a big club but in reality that doesn't count for much so long as we're outside the Premier League - we'll just be a feeder club for those who are and it looks like that's what's happened with Archie.

Sadly it looks like he's gone but the hope is his departure means we won't have to sell too many more of our better players and can mount a decent challenge next season. Problem is, unlike Archie, most (all?) of those other players have no real affinity with the club and might be pushing for a move anyway (and hence there's a danger we'll have lost someone who wants to stay in order to be able to afford to keep others who don't). It's going to be an interesting transfer window for us....
