Not a fan of Ronaldo’s histrionics, but I cannot fathom how that wasn’t a penalty. The rationale that he wasn’t involved in the play is daft - he would have been if he wasn't being impeded! She effectively said that off the ball shirt-pulling is perfectly legitimate.

Something about the ball on that attack being in a different area to where Ronaldo was being pulled. That would appear to be the rules these days but...what a load of TOSH. If you're being pulled about and stopped from getting near the ball, surely that's a foul. The law is an ass.

I don't think it should have been a penalty anyway, but flailing your arms around and shouting at the ref (even if you are a captain) rightfully is a yellow card.
