I always thought that Lallana was a key player at Southampton and was surprised he got nowhere at Liverpool. He may be 36 now, but I still think he will be a good addition to the squad. He has cost us nothing, but if he helps us stay up what more can we ask?

his touches per game decreased by a lot at Liverpool. We really played through him at saints so he was on the ball a lot more. There's a big difference in perception between those who watched him live at Anfield and those who watched him on the telly as you missed out on the little things he does. In all the games I saw him play in person at St Mary's I dont think I ever saw him put his laces through the ball, always instep/outstep of boot, hell of a technical player.

Doesn’t need an explanation.

I know Le Tiss now has stupid views but his 2 against Newcastle in 1993 we could do with from time to time and those goals were pretty special.

I am not up to date on anything he's done recently.

Monday night game if I remember rightly. Remember the goals watching live and screaming the house down. The one remembered more is of course brilliant but the actual finish scuffed and in many ways the one that came from the corner with the one touch on the knee and volley was as good in my opinion. But the start of the multiple defender goal with the little back heel flick will always win the fans award.

He’s become a dangerous fruit loop.

I will say this about LeTiss.. He's fundamentally a nice, good, well meaning bloke.. He's obviously completely down the rabbithole, has views that are potentially dangerous to propagate etc but he still gives up his time for local causes/charities and still gets plenty of goodwill for the time he gives people around Southampton.

It's sad mainly and watching people pile-on is tough, it's like a slow-motion car crash involving a one off cherished rolls royce..
