Spain beating Albanian means England go through regardless of tomorrow’s result.
Maybe with the pressure off, they will relax and play. We can but hope.g4ry13 said:

Last kick of the game
How was there 8 minutes stoppage time anyway?!
Full subs for each side & lots of SH bookings. Still, eight mins seemed generous. How was there 8 minutes stoppage time anyway?!
Still did seem generous...

The team should string Perisic up by his nethers - what was he thinking trying to cross the ball on the volley in the 96th minute when they didn't need a goal?! Gave it straight to Italy! Just control it and keep it in the corner you utter plank.

I find the time keeping in Football baffling.I am surprised there is not a visible clock, controlled by the ref for breaks in play, so that everyone knows exactly how much time is left. When it gets to zero, blow the whistle. At the moment no-one really knows how long is left.
Rugby seem to manage with this system, obviously the game ends on a break in play, but the actual system is much clearer for players and spectators.

I've never watched a rugby match at one of the smaller clubs, say Maidenhead, Henley, Barnes etc. but do they also have the ref wired to the clock (not literally of course)? There have been 16 games played so far (As of Slovenia vs Serbia), and 6 goals have been scored in added-on time!
Seems like a high percentage of last-minute goals.
It makes it great for watching neutral games!
3 more goals scored in added on time!Seems like a high percentage of last-minute goals.

Euro 2024 is the Fergie Time tournament.
