I think those ill advised friendlies against Netherlands, France and England just killed any momentum and confidence the team had - not sure how much say Clarke would have had in those but it’s been an uphill battle since then.

I’d give him the first three games of the Nations League to see if there’s any sign of improvement and a more positive approach.

In Nations League we have Poland and Portugal away, then Croatia at hone... any positive result out of those games will be tough.

I said approach, not result though......I'm not expecting to beat Portugal away but if it's a repeat of the Germany performance then I think lessons haven't been learned or he's not willing to change.

Just like Man Utd fans support Man City after they've been knocked out of a European championship? We're all British, aren't we?

For me my second team is Italy, third England but I'm not massively bothered who wins.

With Rugby it's Scotland then the Boks. Always has been, always will be.

Been a fan of Celtic and Chelsea since primary school, and I'd rather go to the bridge than Parkhead...(never been to either, but I'd rather see Chelsea play than Celtic).
