After seeing the Swiss play today, sadly I don't see us getting anything out of Wednesday's game.
Yes they look decent… good ball players, who know where the goal is, and big lads too. As are the Hungarians, who were tipped to do well.

Yeah we are done for, nil points coming up unless we can muster up a good performance and get a bit of luck. It’s to be expected really since we are a team full of duffers with only a few good players

It’s terrifying watching the Scottish defenders on the ball. The back passes have been Sunday league blooper level.

Combine that with how we sometimes build from the back and it looks like we could easily concede another easy goal. It’s worked out well so far but it’s just one mistake away from another blunder, and you can’t imagine us getting away with it too many more times given our mistakes.

Sometimes you just need to get the ball to fk.

Hanley gave Gilmore a shocker of a pass, who inturn gave a crap ball to Ralston, who then made a crap pass back towards Gunn.

There's been a few rushed passes in defence. They need to get a grip.

They're still in it.

A big 45 coming up

Tierney broken again. I don't think we're going to win the tournament now

Win against Hungary and hope results elsewhere go their way. Realistically can't finish second now due to the inferior goal difference so one of the four ebst third place teams is now the aim.

Thanks. Hungary have nothing to play for. Could men them doing nothing, or else playing a blinder.

it all just deteriorated very quickly. When I saw the line up, 5-4-1, I wondered why the defensive stance when really they needed a win.
Few minutes into the game and it was obvious, but even a 9 men defence is no use when they're playing like that, poor passes, giving the ball away, sloppy challenges. Better off with Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew etc

If they beat Scotland and finish third in the group they could still get through to the last 16 dependent on results in the other groups.

4 slots for third place finishers up for grabs, and 3 points can be good enough as per Ukraine in the last tournament.

Beat Hungary 3-0 and Switzerland lose 3-0 and that will sort the goal difference out. Unlikely, but not excessively so. But any win and 3rd place will hopefully be enough, although there's always the Law of Scotland Glorious Defeat which will probably see us out on goal difference.

just on my way home from germany now, it might have beeen the german beer, but I thought we played well enough. if you’d offered me 1-1 before the match i’d have been happy enough.

could’ve got the win, but to bounce back after friday and put in a bit of a performance and get the draw, i’m happy with that!

4 points will see us through in the ‘best place 3rd team’ category. there’s only 2 3rd place teams that don’t make it!

germany was awesome though, the sheer numbers of tartan army there just to watch in a square/ pub/ fan park….. absolutely great atmosphere!

roll on sunday!!!!

I have to say as a "part-Scot" that the Tartan Army belting out "Flower of Scotland" pre-match has been one of the highlights of the tournament for me.

They've certainly played their part this week!!
