Yesterday, FA Cup Final, Wembley.
Today, play-off Final, Wembley.
Should some of these games not be played and shared around the country. Way too much London-centricity.
No issue with the finals at Wembley, but struggle to see why the semi finals need to be there. Today, play-off Final, Wembley.

Much prefer them to be played at a neutral ground depending on where there clubs are based.

If numerous people are telling you you're a miserable bell end maybe you should take it on board. You pretty much single handedly ruin this thread.
At least simon800 took criticism on the chin and actually had the balls to apologise.

Ridiculous having the semi finals at Wembley (imo)
It devalues the final as an "occasion"
Exactly this-unless it was two London clubs in a semi final obviously It devalues the final as an "occasion"
Interesting that no one else has come out with the same story that the Guardian reported with ETH definitely getting sacked.
All the reporting confirmed that no decision has been made about ETH. They have been speaking to potential other managers, but they are completing a review starting this week

Half the teams in the league would have nothing to play for three quarters of the way through the season if there was no play offs.
Probably be an idea to play better then? It's like a participation trophy at this point. Straight to third v fourth I might be able to understand, but expecting a team that finished third on 90 points to play a team that finished 6th on 73 points for the right to get to the final is ridiculous. What have the team in 6th done to deserve the chance to get promoted?

It's been a great way to end the season and works well. No need to change

This has been handled appallingly, which isn't a great look for the new regime who swept in on a tide of reinstating competence and professionalism. Even if ETH does stay now, what message has been sent out? That the owners clearly have no faith in him? Some will have knives out from day 1 of the new season, both in and out of the dressing room, and he'll start high up the "first to get sacked" charts. All the reporting confirmed that no decision has been made about ETH. Incredibly disappointing all round.
