Well, after a season that, until February, seem all wrapped up it seems that Leicester are now likely to be reinstalled in the Premier division. But judging from what I saw yesterday, the club are very likely to do what the french call "l'ascenceur". In other words, straight up and straight down. You can't rely on a 37 yr-old striker to get you out of trouble in the Premier. After the best players were sold last season, much money needs to be spent I feel.
Saints seem to be even bigger bottlers than us! Had a couple of injuries and Russell Martin is a blagger, never rated him.
We seemed to throw all our usual tactics out the window and were happy to press and counter attack rather than playing keep ball.
We played really well, got the job done. Not sure whether the players were celebrating the hat trick after the game? Would like to think they weren’t celebrating promotion as the job isn’t done yet.
Leeds vs. QPR Friday, and we’re away to Preston Monday, be nice if we secured it there, don’t think I’ve ever been at a game we’re we’ve done that, usually it’s other teams failing to win that win us the league or secure promotion.

When you started to wobble a few weeks ago I said you'd still go up as Champions and I'm sure you will - well deserved too, you've been the best team in the Championship this season! You might actually get promoted without kicking a ball because if we fail to beat QPR on Friday you're effectively there; if we lose you definitely are and even if we draw you're as good as up given your superior goal difference after last night. We seemed to throw all our usual tactics out the window and were happy to press and counter attack rather than playing keep ball.

It looks like the second automatic promotion spot's likely to be decided on the final day in which case we could do with Southampton playing like they did last night! But if we lose at QPR and Ipswich win what will then be their two games in hand they'll be up before the final day anyway - and it will be the dreaded play-offs for us....

I think 95 points will be enough for promotion, setting my stall out early.
Not far off!Last couple of months have been very poor, but if we get 100 points I can’t grumble too much. I’m not a fan of the football but it’s gotten a lot of good results.
3 new stadiums in the EPL to do next season, although I’ll be doing less in total I think, especially with the Euros coming up.
Cheers!!

Anyone else here worried about how we will perform next season?
Our talismanic Vardy is no spring chicken, & the Premier League do seem to be hell bent on making us start with a points deduction…..a challenging year ahead.
Every promoted team should expect to be in a relegation fight Our talismanic Vardy is no spring chicken, & the Premier League do seem to be hell bent on making us start with a points deduction…..a challenging year ahead.
Teams who go up playing a possession based game should adapt their style or go back down with a whimper. If Leeds go up and stick with Farke I'd put money on them getting relegated, Leicester should have more chance but I can't see Vardy getting much game time at his age
Having read the news about the law suit for overspending, it seems incredible to me that this could be launched at a point where Leicester are promoted. Will this mean we may not be promoted or that we will start next season with negative points? Assuming we lose lose the case of course!
