A decent season, given how little we spent.
How many will jump ship over the summer?
Agreed. What is the future financially, is ME looking to cover his existing outlay before investing further in the club? Or is he all round bad news? I've not lived in town for some time and have no idea what he's about. How many will jump ship over the summer?

He did back Keane and Jewell, realised that money doesn't always buy success and has gone with running the club on a relatively sound financial footing. Meaning he's unlikely to want to pump any more than the near on £100m he already has! (Fair enough I think!)
He does seem to want to support McCarthy in allowing him to at least retain those he wants which I see as a good thing.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Mings go, he won't want that, but the whole 'Nike Athlete' thing and us having an Adidas kit just screams to me there are people who'll ensure a move happens. I hope it doesn't, but I suspect he's got something lined up (gut feeling) for a decent amount of money.
If we can retain Murphy, Sears, McGoldrick, Bishop, Skuse and the back 4, we'll be in good shape.
Hammond could be the answer to RB and Connelly is as quick as f**k apparently, exciting!

Wow, had no idea he'd invested that amount of money. Fair do's as you say, I wouldn't be sloshing it about willy nilly either. MM is a good choice to extract us from the championship efficiently, lets hope he wants to stay.He did back Keane and Jewell, realised that money doesn't always buy success and has gone with running the club on a relatively sound financial footing. Well, some news at last!
Mings out for a reported £8m with clauses.
Pitman and Fraser coming the other way (Fraser on loan)
I like Mings a lot and he has every tool in the box, speed, physical size, smart, good quick feet and he's also grounded and sensible, contrary to what people may think.
However, I cannot help but think £8m when Cressy went for £4m or whatever it was is a cracking deal because Mings is far from the finished article.
Not sure on Pitman...good player, clearly, just concerned it's because Murphy, Sears or McGoldrick are moving on, otherwise, why pay a fee?

Brighton were pretty ordinary last season (saw them well beaten by Brentford) so I'd hope we can deal with them.
Brighton are a very well organised team now, fair play to Hughton, he's got them sorted and I think they'll be up there.I'm remaining grounded.
Love the squad this year though, just seems like we've got a really attacking threat and some proper 'match winners' within the squad.

So frustrated this season, I'd have half accepted this last year. Maybe hopes were to high after last year.
I think after that first game at Brentford and sitting top at one point, to see things fall away so quickly is really disappointing.Howver, Fraser and McGoldrick are top level Championship players, along with Bishop, I believe having them fit for the season and we'd definitely be a few wins further up the road and in the hunt.
As it stands, let's see what the summer brings and go again.
I'm not calling for McCarthy to go, he's smart enough to change things and know what to do, contrary to the calls of dinosaur. I'm sure this time next year he'll be reminding us what we were saying now lol!
Dozzell, Bishop and Digby could all feature next year, that's encouraging for me
