Yep baring 3 teams, everyone else is pretty woeful but then that seems to have been the case for a couple of years.
Realistically there are about 4 or 5 teams playing for that 4th spot. Not sure we have quite a strong enough team to rise above them, even with the Conte factor. Ideally we need to do some good business in Jan, then we might be in with a shot but we aren't going to get 4th playing Winks, Davies and Dier.

We're a million miles away from finishing 4th. A top 6 finish should be achievable though.
I disagree with that, 4th place is there for the taking there is no standout candidate we stand as good a chance as anyone else. West Ham go to Citeh next game. We have Burnley. Quite conceivably 1 point off 4th with 75points still to play for.
January signings will be key. Or when Harry decides to start kicking the ball into the goal.
6/7 teams in the running for 4th. We're as bad as any of them, so all to play for

3 teams? Much as I dislike West Ham I think it's pretty clear they are far from woeful this season. Moyes is doing a Poch-esque job there, they've got a style, they're playing for each other, he's got them punching above their weight. Yes they are having a wobble and yes their paper thin squad may struggle with a busy schedule including European games ibut to describe West Ham as woeful is well wide of the mark.48k said:

They are currently the most consistent of the pack chasing that 4th spot but I think they like everyone else have a bit of a gap in quality, especially to the top two. Yes they are playing well as a team but can't think of any of their players that are outstanding. Also it's West Ham who are even more perennial under achievers than us (if that's possible). This is a blip, they'll soon be back where they belong.GloverMart said:
I want to buy a voucher for two stadium tours, is the cheapest way just to book via the Spurs website?
They've got some good Black Friday discounts but not on vouchers sadly.
Yup. We parked in the car park by the station, £6.50 all dayThey've got some good Black Friday discounts but not on vouchers sadly.

Tour is self guided with fancy multimedia screens to walk you around. Takes about 90 mins and the staff are good for a chat.
Worth stopping in the M restaurant to eat, (last stop of the tour) really cheap for London and good food.

The more worrying one is Kane. He just doesn't look as mobile as he used to be. And I wonder if cumulative injuries are catching up with him.
He's just not fit, is he? Going through the motions with Nuno. I'm sure Conte double sessions will have him up to speed in not time.Biggest issue still is a creative passer in the middle. Even at the weekend it was only Kane who playing the incisive passes. I don't if he's the only player who sees the pass or the only one with the ability or confidence to make the pass? Massie Eriksen shaped whole in the team.
Lots of talk about a new forward coming in (Vlahovic etc). If so, fascinating to see how we line up. 3 CBs, 2 WBs. Hoijberg will play. Kane & Son will play. + a new forward. That leaves room for 1 more midfielder. 3-4-3? 3-4-1-2? 3-5-2? Kane could play the No.10 role. With Son + new Forward up top. I'm not sure how happy he would be not chasing goal records though. Otherwise I'm not sure how you play 3 forwards AND wing-backs - unless you have 12 players on the pitch

I would imagine the new striker would be a backup for Kane and\or Son or maybe even a replacement if Kane goes in Jan which I reckon could still be on the cards.
We urgently still need a creative midfielder. Conte doesn't fancy Ndom for some reason and even though he is our most creative midfielder, he is lacking in other areas so I can sort of understand why 3 managers haven't really fancied him till now.
Saying that Eriksen wasn't exactly brilliant at defending either, we just need to setup to allow our creative midfielder to flourish, unfortunately our defense is still too shaky to do that.

Was Ndombele a Levy flight of fancy? We urgently still need a creative midfielder. Conte doesn't fancy Ndom for some reason and even though he is our most creative midfielder, he is lacking in other areas so I can sort of understand why 3 managers haven't really fancied him till now.

Ndombele looks good for 60 mins then runs out of steam. Kane was definately flagging at the end of the Leeds game, but then stats showed we were the only the second team to out distance Leeds this season in the second half.
I know you don't like Alli, but Alli as creative? He has a good pass on him. We need to lose the punt upfield towards Kane and go back to the quick incisive passing and movement. We became slow walkers under Maureen.
Again it's balance. Until we get 3 good defenders at the back, we have to have Hojbjerg and an other (skipp, winks etc) as a holding role midfield, with the wingbacks pushing up and down.
If we play 3 at the front then we have no room for a creative midfielder?
Do we play Son/Kane up front as a pair, giving up the wings for the wingbacks, then there's room for a creative midfielder.
