Sterling: dreadful. However, Maguire and Trippier, outstanding.

Like I said before, we need another because we're likely to concede.

If we do end up winning the whole thing, it'll be because of them two, not the likes of Kane.

Disagree. It will be because Southgate has put together a team where everyone is playing for everyone.

Because they are our best two players, and have been for every game.

I not usually a fan of any football however have got into watching the World Cup.. and thoroughly enjoyed most of the games ...

i have no clue about tactics or generally what’s good play or not however when watching ENG as soon as they get anywhere the opposition goal - their bks shrivel up and they bottle it by doing passes all the way back to the GK.

Why are ENG so afraid of attacking ?

Indeed knowing his "history" and political persuasion it's surprising he isn't doing more to curse them.

Oh and idiot commentator running his mouth of there "England are so good just now" then boom and another excellent save from the england keeper!!!

Well yes, but my point was about how the strikers will get all the press, whereas trippier and Maguire should be getting the headlines really.

They may well be but you don't win without goalscorers and goalkeepers. It's a team effort.

Ref is being a bit of a knob too, some refs have been walked over by the players.. This ref wants to get way too involved.
