Next 5 PL games.

West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester City v West Ham United
West Ham United v Leeds United
Manchester United v West Ham United
West Ham United v Arsenal

Will be doing bloody well if we`re still hanging around the top 6 at the end of that lot.
8/9 points would see us right I reckon.

Will be interesting to see how Moyes goes about these fixtures.
Will he view the Manc games as free hits and juggle the side around or go full strength?

Yeah, likewise, I'll be interested in his approach.

Personally I think he will go defensive for the majority of those, which will be disappointing for the fans but if we averaged a point a game, I think he'd be happy with that.

Everton have got City, Liverpool and Chelsea coming up
Arsenal gave City and Leicester
Chelsea have Man U and Everton
Spuds probably have the easiest immediate set of fixtures, bit the good thing about the above is they will obviously all take points off each other.

There also aren't currently teams with several games in hand around us.

WHU Squad depth & cittee aside we ought to be competitive in all of those fixtures - especially as the mancs & spuds have Euro footie to contend with.

Agree w/ Rich - Moyes defensive nature re 'top teams' will potentially have a significant bearing.

I thought Mike Dean might be finished, sadly not:-

So tomorrow...
Perfectly set up for us or them to have egg on faces.
Usual Kane goal, Bale suddenly finds his form, and a high scoring draw.
Or we win.

Or they do

Or it’s a low scoring draw.

Or a nil nil.

I’m convinced it’ll be one of those.

I’d be more confident if Ogbonna was fit. There’s a late decision on Antonio apparently.

About time he got another goal - last one was vs. WBA.

No Og, no Fredericks, two keepers on the bench. A game that may depend on who’s the fittest between Kane and Ant.
They probably need a win more than us.

We need to get an early goal and actually make them attack us.

HoseA gone all out attack looking at their front 4 of Son, Kane, Lamela and Moura.

Hopefully that might give us space through the midfield to counter attack.

We need to start this game properly, can`t afford to give them a head start like last time.

COYI.

Thought that we might've set up as per the villa game, but w/ Fredericks (presumably) injured that ruled that option out.

We tried going at them early in the previous fixture and ended up 3 nothing down in 20 minutes getting done on the counter !
Would love to see it though .

Please don't win.

You've got like 5 or 6 tough fixtures coming up in the next few weeks, I think this will be where your season either makes or beaks. Absolutely no reason you can't fight for a top 4 place if you win even half of them.

In all honesty I don’t think any on here are realistically thinking that we won’t run out of steam eventually.I find I’m pretty much looking at the table every day simply because I don’t still believe it.
Anything above 8th will be a terrific season and a big step to hopefully build from. And it’s been a lot of fun being a Hammer and watching it unfold.

A lot of us would have to eat humble pie if we ended up in a CL spot with G&S running the show laugh
