Main whinge is I can't watch them in person - would've been great to watch that demo job.
In true West Ham fashion we’ll be let back in on the last game of season where we need to avoid a 4 nil defeat to qualify for Europe .... and we go down 6-2.![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
Probably v.true though - S'hmpton & Ings last game (and it's at home).
Great result. Some key points in the game with McGoldrick missing a hat-full for them, Fab making a key save at 1-0 up, our strength of scoring from set pieces in both the delivery and the height in the box key. Moyes has clearly driven a defend to the end mentality into the team, and to be honest if he can set us up to be a consistent top 8 team each season that dallys with Europe occasionally we have to be happy with that. Diop had a good game and glad he got a goal. We definitely needed that injection of energy in the team, we had been running out the same 11 for a while and they looked tired.
Of course time for a whinge (or you could call it ways to improve the team?) we still lack a striker even Moyes says so. Better teams we will not break down (as we showed against a misfiring Man Utd team), I mean what team in the premiership is looking at us right now and saying 'yes thats the model, one injury prone striker and no others in the squad is the way forwards' - we all know it will come bite us on the backside in the tougher games but I am enjoying our lofty position for now. Bowen is the big worry for me, he looked poor again we need to find his form again.
For me the main goal now is finish as high as possible and achieve to things, convince Rice its worth not jumping ship quite yet to a big team, and secondly get a position that shows players that we otherwise couldn't convince to join us to take a look at the table and think again.

On another forum I look at it's all rather depressing. I could sum up the majority of posts as:
- Moyes doesn't know what he's doing
- Cresswell's crap
- Oh no not Noble, we'll lose now
- Moyes don't know what he's doing
- Lingard looks tired
- Diop is crap
- Soucek is a limited, one dimensional player
- Lanzini's crap
- Bowen's crap
- Moyes don't know what he's doing....
It's like standing on the terraces when we're scrapping against relegation. Actually I don't know why I bother going there.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

I think its clear Moyes is our best manager for some time, 90% of the time he is making good calls, but there are also some baffling ones too. The Cresswell for England talk was getting silly, he had a bad run of form, but has appeared rejuvenated in this system. His assists really are making someone who is a half decent defender look a lot better. Noble I do shudder a bit when he is on the pitch, I think his influence is definitely off the pitch and on the training ground now. Lingard is definitely proving me wrong, I thought he might be rusty but well chuffed for him, clearly he is an excellent trainer. Diop I think has hit his limitations, but still a reasonably good defender. Lanzini is crap. Bowen is good, but playing crap. Soucek and Rice are monsters in the middle there. And Moyes should have loaned anyone in to cover up front, and therefore doesnt know what he's doing #Moyesout lol- Moyes doesn't know what he's doing

Lanzini is crap. Bowen is good.
Go and sit somewhere quiet, give your head a wobble and have a stern word with yourself. Maybe even give yourself a gentle slap. Lanzini is not crap, he has just never quite got back to what he was before his knee injury. Nobody crap gets into Argentinas World Cup squad.
Bowen on the other hand is turning into another Matt Jarvis.

If we beat the Spuds on Sunday this will be one of the best seasons I've ever experienced and my season ticket hasn't even left my wallet, sad really.
I see the players often say they wish the fans were back, but do they really? Playing without all the negative GSB stuff must be playing a part in this season.
