Everyone is on holiday or in tournaments. Another 6 weeks until the window closes.
Not sure what holidays have to do with it. Surely that would apply to all summer transfer windows but hasn't stopped deals being done previously.

As for tournaments, there are two teams left in it. Hardly a show stopper.

A quick look on Transfermarkt will show that we've already made the 3rd most expensive signing and that no one else is buying multiple players yet. City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal haven't signed anyone of note yet.

With the sale of Parrott we apparently don't meet UEFA's home-grown player rule.

Hence the ongoing interest in Gallagher.

Right.... lets get back to business a long calendar month until the season starts, doesn't seem like a lot of time off for those who went deep into the Euros or Copa America mind does it.

Knowing Fange he'll change the entire squad at half time so you should get a good turn out of the kids.

As for the unflushables in a transfer window dubbed Operation Speedy Exits:

Half Flush: Flappy, Gentle Ben, Oli Skipp, Richy, Soloman, Scarlett,

Full flush: Forster, Reggie, Gil, Lo Celso, Spence, Austin or Whiteman, Cheese.

I saw them get a good hiding from Fulham's juniors about a month ago & as good as their record was last season I was far from impressed tbh , Fulham we're really in all fairness, they had this Welsh kid up front called Callum osmand who looked a real prospect , he scored 3 goals too

Love a trip to Loftus Road, was my first ever away game. You usually get a pretty good atmosphere biggrin

I do like watching a game at QPR tbf , so close to the field is always great , I used to go quite often in the days when you woke up & had a choice of where to go & watch .

Rodney Marsh & his replacement Stan Bowles were a joy to watch in a time when defending was a lot different
