City were poor, Man Utd defended well. Still pains me to see them win something.

I don't know whether it'll make any difference as to whether players want to come because conference league isn't probably the be all and end all (players want CL, maybe Europa) however it might make a difference for sponsors.
Hopefully we get more investment in the squad, retain most if not all of our top players and look again at pushing for CL and cup runs. I'm optimistic that we will be ok next year and will have a decent summer..

Really good article in The Mag about finances.

I sort of now understand it. I think!

That was an interesting read, and somewhat dumbed down the financial rules so a normal lay person, such as myself, can understand them. While missing out on Europe isn't great, it gives us a great platform to push on next season. Very excited for what 24/25 holds for us.

11 released including Ritchie, Karius, Hendrick & Dummett.

Seem to make sense, that just freed up £300k (?) perhaps a week in wages maybe.

So not even one Marcus Rashford. Mad isn't it?

Life is strange and wonderful at times.

Half pleased Chelsea are acting as a filter against anyone who isn't committed to coming. They're welcome to them joining the ranks of players on the bench on £200k a week.

Until their financial skullduggery gets opened up to scrutiny. Then players may regret being there.

I mean selling your training ground and a hotel to yourself to dodge ffp? Stinks.

I'm baffled how Chelsea are spunking so much money on players. Honestly... Baffled.

Their transfer strategy seems to center around our targets.

If you want a laugh, have a listen to today's The Rest is Football podcast where they are interviewing Gazza. Loved the SBR and phone story.

Thanks for highlighting that. Listened to it this afternoon, I was in tears.

Sky reporting that we have to sell before 30/6 for ffp regs.

I’m losing the will to live with this tbh. We were ok, got rid of people off the wage bill, which is part of the equation, increased our earnings hand over fist, more prize money, including CL etc and yet we’re skint?

No issue with Manure- £1bn + in debt, City and their 115 charges, Spuds £700mn Arse £260mn in debt etc etc.

fking stinks.
