Id like to see the administration of this.

I see that the Police here are quite despondent with some things some of which si the speed. One thing is if they are in a bad mood.

Ciao.....

is this a kneejerk repsol thing linked to the scuffle in libya???one of the best things about big road trips in spain on the europe funded highways and byways (remember jc years back at the toll booth with a huge queue behind him saying he had already paid) is that huge distances can be fired off maintaining a decent speed, not silly but 130kph on the speedo is a calculated risk and about right for me.oh well we still have the sun.

But your journey will now take longer. So will you save fuel? wink
It's a bugger becuase my Navara seems to have the sweet spot at 140.

A few speed camera's starting to pop up here in Mallorca too.

I made a comment to the girlie in the gas station today, that it's not so long ago since I could fill up for €60. Today it was €86.

yep exactly-130 is the sweetspot in my 4x4,which incidently very nearly took £100 to fill up back in the uk in january-noticed the pump had a sticker saying £100 was the max vend too.could be awkward very soon.back on topic-a cynic might say that the scurge of the speed camera is well and truly upon us on the mainland and given the state of public finances?????

And the state of the roads! mad
Don't know what it's like on the mainland these days, but here they're shocking.
Miles of the roads have been dug up here for water pipes from a new desalination plant, and as they where in a shocking state before they where dug up, I thought oh well, at least we''l get some nice new tarmac put down now. Ugh Urghh! Wrong. Badly patched! frown
Don't think I'll be able to drive my Caterham here when it's finshed.
Dreaming of those long ribbons of coast/mountain roads in Galicia right now.
A move could be imminent.
Although the way the economy is going, I probably wont be able to sell any property for a good few years anyway. Trapped!
I hear there's another chrisis on the way. U.S. first...
Never mind, at least our Mayor can afford to have a 2 million euro villa built.
Then he says there's no money to do the roads properly!
Not exactly shy about blatant corruption in Spain are they? moan

Although it is pi$$ing down today.
I'll probably feel better when I get over to Barcelona for 10 days or so early April. Start of the season, and back on the water. clap

I think that our speed limits here on Ibiza are still the lowest anywhere in the whole of Spain 80kmh and in some areas 60kmh, whilst in Ibiza town 30kmh, my Corvette doesn't like it at all .

Looks like it's temporary until the Libyan thing gets sorted. Best solution - stay off the autopistas - the N roads are much more fun

Agree - the "N" roads are lot more fun - even in our dodgy Hyundai Atos. Must be the only person slightly relieved the limits are dropping - the Atos struggles to hit 120 unless favourable conditions allow!

Out of (morbid) curiosity, can I ask what super unleaded costs per litre out there (on the mainland, particularly the east coast) currently?

How depressing that it is indeed something of a bargain compared to UK prices. frown

Even six months ago the idea of celebrating £1.20 a litre would have seemed ridiculous.
