well i feel your pain!had 4 new ones in 8 years here and not only had to beg to buy them but been royally arse raped every time at trade in time.i think the car market is very different to the uk,for starters not the competition-no vying for your business,cba attitude in human resources that prevails in most businesses in spain is even worse in the car trade.given up on new ones now as they were dented within a week as the lack of respect for peoples cars is incredible.i think you have done the right thing in keeping it-makes sense.spend the money on some nice bespoke 7 bits !

I think you're right, and the more I think about it, and look at the secondhand crap on the forcourts, and what they want for them, the more I think my 12k figure I had in mind was close.
Fair enough, knock 1k off for a set of tyres, which they'll get cheaper than me anyway, and your close to what the Guy at the Ford garage offered me against a same value car.
I'll see if he gives me a follow up call, and if he comes up another 1k, throws on a load liner, and a towbar, he might have a deal.
Then I'll have to wait about two days for that first parking ding!
