repair help need Alicante

Hi my son and friend are doing a European tour and has broken down in Alicante, its a VW panel van 1.9td lost a valve and could be a new head required, one of the guys is a mechanic but does not want to take it apart if someone else is going to do the work? They plan to leave it with a friend there and then come back when fixed. Just trying anyone one on here with a good contact that wont rip them off??
