Good morning my Spanish friends,im taking the plunge next month and moving to Torrevieja,took an 18 month lease out on an apartment,no particular reason,just want to take it easy,maybe find a part time job to keep me occupied....
I used to spend alot of time in Elche (la marina) and came to Torrevieja alot,is there many part time jobs going? will consider anything really, im 21 if that makes a difference to you...

things are grim my friend as you will find,spose if you are prepared to do anything you may be able to pick up some seasonal work.it is tourist time for a few months but winter can be difficult.good luck.

Agreed. Unemployment is at 20% over here and it shows. I think this winter is going to be a lot harder than last winter.

However, I wouldn't let my comments put you off. smile

What about going unemployed? as in doing gardening/general tidying, painting etc, just enough to get by on really.

You could try some of the guardianage companies in the marinas, for a bit of boat cleaning.
