St Juan Festival de la Sardinas

We are off tomorrow on the morning ferry to Denia and then on up to Galicia to our old haunts for the festival of Sardines so will be a pretty heavy week of Red/White wine and headaches no doubt, the fiesta will be actually on Wednesday evening, but we will start practising when we arrive Saturday lunch time.

Can't wait to get to the best part of Spain for some decent fish & marisco washed down with some good Albarino wines.

I've got a real hankering when i've recovered from my recent op to get to Jerez and see mummy. While there i will be eating and drinking large quantities of tasty chocos and tortilla con patatas with copious amounts of Manzanilla & fino sherry. The seafront at Sanlucar has some of the very best pescados and mariscos in Spain.

Thanks, I will and I have spent many a good weekend down on the river opposite the Donana in the bars and restaurants watching the fresh fish and mariscos being brought in and being able to choose whatever is your want, including some of the famous Gambas de Sanlucar delicious, as you say washed down with copious amounts of Manzanilla served in ice cold glasses.
