you have to present your valid insurance certificate to attain an itv-no probs for me but a good friend who fixes scooters is tearing his hair out.kids drop off ped to see if they will pass before insuring!likewise theres now no dropping the car in and then fixing the advisories before legalising it.
Pretty easy really, kids just get a cover note jobs a good un & fully insure if it passes.
And what about the gatages that take your car and any other person car up for its ITV ?
Then there is the car hire companies who just take a she dload of vehicles.
The other alternative is to just trailer the scoot up for its ITV then trailer it home after as you do now if you don't have insurance.
Probably a good thing in Spain as there are too many of the brat packs out there noisy bloody things those poxy two strokes, especially those Vespinos.

a bit more hassle for some then.peds don't really bother me,part of med living really and just the same as france, italy et al.
They don't really affect me nowdays, but when I lived in Estepona Casco Viejo they use to drive me nuts all night long that perpetual buzzing up and down those old narrow streets right under your bedroom window, but then I moved very quickly and haven't been bothered by them since. The kids get them when they are 15 not sure how long that is going to last though sssing as the majority of minimum age is 16 and the driving schools would rather not issue a licence due to the many bad accidents and deaths caused by and these young kids with no brains, probably dressed in Shorts and no headgear at all until they get fined, then the end of the following week off it comes again, but Hey Ho thats life and hopefully they will learn from it.
A bit odd that. Seeing as how you don't need to carry it anymore, now that the Guardia Civil can pop your matricula into a database from their vehicle, and know whether you're insured or not.
ITV centers, and "Engineers" eh...
I remember taking my first brand new Navarra in for a tow bar inspection. I took the paperwork for the front bullbars too.
They told me i didn't need to have the bullbars inspected. Fair enough.
Two years later, to my surprise, I got a "disfavorable" at the first ITV.
No stamp for the bullbars on my ficha technica.
"But you told me it didn't need to be done!" "Oh, the Law's changed"
