Hi there

Has anyone got any experience of selling a car in Spain. I want to sell my TVR Chimaera. I don't speak any Spanish, though. What are the websites the locals usually use?

At the moment not a particularly good part of the world to be sellinga car due to the general low prices being paid for cars butif I was you I would advertise it privately, just look in the paper shops and you will see their car mags.

If it's on Spanish plates, drag the buyer off to a Gestoria and make sure the papers are dealt with on the spot! Don't let the car go untill the Gestor has everything.
I sold a car to a guy who's stepfather was a gestor, and he told me he'd get it done. BIG mistake! I was chasing him for three years before I could get the car out of my name.
What will you be replacing it with? Anything tastey? wink

Thanks for the tip. It's on UK plates. I'm having to get something far more sensible - a small, diesel van most likely. frown

Sorry to hear the TVR has to go. frown
But you'll fit in like a local with a furgoneta wink Hopefully you can look forward to something for the weekend Sir, when things pick up.
Good luck with the sale, hope she finds a caring home.

Mick.
