Registration documents

Hi all,

Quick bit of help if possible.

I'm looking at buying a car that is currently registered in Marbella and would need to be registered in the UK. What's the Spanish equivalent of the V5c and what would one look like? Is there any other legal papers, other than the usual bill of sale etc, that I would need to look for? Equivalent MOT or some such.

I believe you will need the ficha tecnica (car details on it), permiso circulacion(registration doc with owners details on) and if 4+ yrs old also the ITV (MOT).

I would strongly advise using a gestor or if your Spanish is OK then a visit to Trafico offices.
