Mobile internet in Spain
Discussion
I'm off to Spain for a few days and would like to use the internet without roaming.
I have a MiFi type device that I use in America, but although it can be unlocked doesn't work there apparently (wrong frequency).
Does anyone have any suggestions for a similar device and a pre-paid 1gb (or greater) for Spain? I would preferably like to just go to a shop and buy one ...
Edit: I can buy a ZTE MF60 for £50 and get it delivered before I go which seems easier. So now just looking for a SIM ... thanks.
Thanks,
Steve

Just to answer my own question should anyone look in the future:
There are a lot of mobile phone shops, but only a couple do pre-pay internet. Vodafone for EUR19 for 1GB (although EVERY store was sold out) and Carrefour that had two options: EUR19/1GB and EUR29/3GB. Vodafone is valid for 90 days and Carrefour 30 days.
Make sure you know which APN to use before you go (Carrefour is CARREFOURINTERNET for example) and the one on the SIM card was wrongly loaded as Carrefour use Orange's network.

When you say your Mifi is the wrong frequency what do you mean?
I have a Huawei E5756 and I have just unlocked it. My plan was to visit a store in Spain when I arrive to buy a payg sim for it. Are you saying it won't work??
USA's implementation of GSM (and related standards) is a little different to Europe's. A MiFi from one EU country will work fine in any other.I have a Huawei E5756 and I have just unlocked it.
