Having my Friday night couple of pints in my local bar last night, when two of the above mentioned numpties walk by.
The landlord had an ice cream sign outside the bar, the type with pictures of the available ice creams on it.
The two come into the bar and tell the landlord the sign isn´t allowed
Well, every bar in bloody Mallorca have signs like this, or pictures of the food on plates, cocktails or whatever.
Why? Says the Landlord. "It´s not elegant enough" say the numpties. WTF!
"Define elegant" says the landlord, looking at the two coppers, one with a pony tail, the other with sleeve tattoo's on both arms, and both of them with three days stubble

Just thought I´d share some of the bizarreness of life in Mallorca.
I can quite believe it.
Here in Malaga provence in the town nearest to us, the local police seem to spend most of their time chatting to people they know oblivious to all kinds of traffic indiscresions going on around them.
The Guardia Civil (whilst on duty and armed) frequently stop off at one of the ventas outside town for the "menu del dia¨" followed by a large brandy at the bar.
