Anyone got anything available for the summer?

Currently in Porto Pollensa & fancy staying out here for the summer.

Fully trained & experienced bar man who can work in restaurants & hospitality. Willing to give anything a go!

Probably the best idea is to get around the bars etc or down to the marina if you fancy doing boat maintenance. A you are already there it will probably make it easier.

Already been around the bars/restaurants here - nothing going at the moment.

As for boat maintenance..... I don't know a thing about boats, I am not too keen being too far away from land & I can't swim so don't think I have any skills to offer when it comes to boats!

I meant cleaning them when they harbour. Like washing cars but bigger!

There´s a bit more to cleaning boats than most people think. You need to know your products for starters.
I always say, a good housewife can take years off your boat in a day!

Also, it´s not so casual here now. You will need to be registered autonimo to work in the marinas and yards. The Guardia Civil stopped my deck hand only a couple of weeks ago. The yards also require liability insurance.

Try some of the car hire companies, they may need help. Good luck wink

Pollensa 'marina' isn't the biggest or busiest on the island & it doesn't get as busy as some. Already done the rounds of the boats but nothing doing due, as Mickrick says, to lack of knowledge of boats etc.

Don't fancy working on boats anyway as being a non-swimmer doesn't exactly go down well!!

Prefer dry land although nothing doing here.

You also need to consider that there´s 1 in 5 unemployed in Spain right now.
