The cyclista are back!

Brits too. You wouldn't believe how many are here!
I drove up to Sa Calobra on Saturday, to watch one of the closed road sections of the anual Classic car rally.
It usually takes me an hour, driving steady. It took me two. One pack after another!
The roads are mainly uphill and very twisty with few passing places, one group, (about 20) where huffing and puffing up, without any intention of singleing up to let the stream of cars past that where crawling along behind them, too slow for me to sit in first gear, so I was having to clutch in and out.
They had a support car crawling along in front of them, with the tailgate up, and a Guy sitting in the back filming them!

Oxford now - ffs. They are such a bunch of car/vehicle hating numpties here.
Having suffered the cyclists on previous occasions in Oxford (ranted about the stupidity of them on a PH thread recently & thought i was going to get lynched for daring to whinge about them!!!!) i got to Oxford & took the park & ride in to the city centre.
Sat on the bus, traffic lights on red, cars who have right of way due to lights being on green have to stop to avoid flattening the toss-pots on bikes who insist on cycling through red lights causing the cars to stop to miss the cyclists!
fking lunatics then have the cheek to flick the finger at the car drivers even though the cyclists were in the wrong!!!
Bus driver said if he was allowed too he would have a scoop fitted to the front of his bus to plough the 'ignorant fkers' (his words, not mine) out of the way.
Says he is scared stless driving his bus because the cyclists dont give a toss about other road users & they assume that they are in the right even when they are in the wrong!!
So you have my sympathies regarding cyclists.

My Missus is off work this week, and being as it's "POETS" day, we arranged to meet in the port for lunch.
Found a nice table in the sun, and halfway through lunch, a bunch of the road lice clip clop their way in, after cluttering the place up with their bikes.
They then re-arange the tables so they can all sit together, then one of them pipes up "are we eating or just going to have drinks?" Great! take the place over then sit there with a bottle of fking Evian!
In my eyes, walking into a restaurant in lycra is inapropriate dress, up there with walking in off the beach shirtless.
They realy get up my nose!
I had one threatening me on another car forum recently because I made a light hearted, and off hand comment about going off to blow my horn at some cyclists.
He started harping on about his mate that had been knocked off and killed, well sorry for him, I don't like to see anyone hurt, but some of them have it coming.
My Wife works on emergency desk at the local hospital, and she's unundated with them every year. Some are polite, but mostly they are arrogant rude pricks, still high on their body drugs.
Anyway I sent the threatening chappie a private e-mail offering to meet him and talk, we could have a beer, or he could try to knock my block off, his call. Never got a reply. All wind and lycra.
On the subject of horns, I recently came up behind a large group, and gave then a toot toot to let them know I was coming.
Some of them gave those funny signals they have, and they singled up. I still couldn't pass safely as there was a bend coming up, and I couldn't see around it, so I sat behind for a minute or two.
As soon as the front man could see around the bend, they all started to wave me past, Lovely! I gave them a friendly wave of apreciation, and we where all happy and safely on our way.
Why oh why, can't they all be so considerate!
