Marbella meet?
Discussion
Sitting here in the garden between Marbella and PB and all I can hear is a cacaphony of Ferrari's belting around, sounding like they are heading for the hills - out hosts seem to think that it is a regular Sunday thing and that they all meet at a restaurant somewhere before going for a blat.
Does anyone know whereabouts, as I wouldn't mind taking a wander down next week if it is indeed a regular thing? I might even bring the mighty 1.2 Fiat Panda down for a play, as nothing handles like a hire car, right?!?

Well, if blat means bouncing off the limter along frontline Banus then you're right. If you mean they go out for an epic thrash up the Ronda, Monda or Istan road like the rest of us then you'd be disappointed. It's like watching Miss Daisy go for a drive with the handbrake on with that lot ShinyAndy said:

Will be down in the Lambo next Tues for a few of weeks, think I'll stick to a run up to Rhonda on me todd then, I also thought this might be a little interesting That Ronda road is Epic!
I used to run up there in my old VW Transporter van! Loved the way the mountains go orangy red/pink in the evening. I would fill my water jugs up from the srping half way up, and the tops would pop off the bottles by the time I got to Ronda!
Dinner in a resturaunt with a balcony hanging over "el coño"
That'll be a good Blat in a Lambo! Which one do you have?
I can see how it would appeal to the bikers, being an "ex" biker.
(My Buell is due to be shipped over at the end of september looking forward to getting up into the Tramuntan here!)

Got the Gallardo Spyder, can't wait to pick her up in the morning (sat in the hotel at Manchester airport at the moment)
Also getting my bikes shipped out next year and will definitely be having a few runs to Ronda, just hope I've got a little more road sense than your average biker you see up there, most of them are not even that quick, just suicidal

Very Nice, It'll sound awsome with the noise bouncing off the rock!
My Boss tossed me the keys to his Spyder a couple of years ago in Monaco.
I really enjoyed it, especially through that long tunnel on the way to Cannes.
Don't know which one you have, but the only thing I wasn't keen on was the e-gear. But I'm being really picky now!
The bikers here in Mallorca are bonkers too! The road surface isn't that good in places, but they still get the knee down, and I very often see them coming the other way too wide. A lot die.. Mainly due to the time it takes to get medical attention to them, being up in the mountains.
I used to enjoy a Sunday morning in the Caterham doing a bit of "Bike Baiting"

seems the mad bikers are all over spain and its isla's then. i live less than a km away from a bikers bar and 13km stretch of fantastic smooth twisties which get regular gatherings of 300+ bikes at the weekends. usually 3 deaths a year but lots of minor and more serious accidents aswell. upheld brit honour many times in the elise as 90% of em wouldn't know how to put together good flowing safe lines if the armco slapped then round the bonce oh hang on. trouble is they tend to max up the straits and go in way too hot on the front brake, run wide or worse wash out the front. oh and latest rice burner and beach safety clothing= peperroni pizza look.
