Just watching this and a great bit of prime time publicity

Looks like a standard car, in (Chrome?) Silver over Paprika. It's owned by the protagonist (played by John Simm)...who comes across a bit of a git but will no doubt have an epiphany at some point...

It does if you lock it twice

He locked it and it flashed once and 'beeped' once. Trouble is it is exactly the same beep as on several different makes of car, (in lots of other BBC dramas) that don't beep in real life!

Mods - worth a sticky warning people against buying that particular car? It's been involved in a heavy rear impact

He did have his epiphany but not until his Evora was rear ended and both airbags went off. The crunch wasn't actually shown, just the impact in the cabin so perhaps they couldn't afford to write it off.

Yeah typical Lotus malfunction, hit from the rear and the airbags go off LOL
