Aftermarket complete exhaust under development.
Discussion
We have a launch edition Evora here, we're using it to develop our complete exhaust.
By now we've tested it on the dyno with the stock and with the stage 2 lotus performance exhaust.
Results weren't bad, i'll post the graphs as soon as possibile, with the exhaust it run 274 hp, with the stage 2 around 280.
We're planning to make 3-1 manifolds, may step-headers, metallic kat and the rest of exhaust, hopefully to relase some good V6 sound and get close to 300hp.
I think the car sounds a bit dull, don't you? For a V6 I was especting something like a 350z.
I'll keep you updated on this!

Squirejo I'm not sure if I can talk about the company I work for, is it allowed by the rules of this forum?
This is the stock engine with a good view on the standard manifold:
Not the best possible, the kat is very close to the engine to warm fast, for euro5 regulations.
Probably we'll move the metallic converter downstream, to have longer primary pipes, a bit like these:

I've just fitted a 2GR-FE to my MR2 with custom manifolds.
Admittedly without a catalytic converter and a freer flowing intake they have all increased power upto 325hp verified on different cars in different countries on different dynos.
Even with a free flowing cat down the line you should see very similar results if not more due to the extra 500Rpm rev limit the Evora ECU's give compared to the Toyota Highlander ECU I have. The engine is a peach once it's release of its emission controls

Supercharger please!
The rather clever chap who designed my manifolds is developing a Rotrex C38 kit for the 2GR-FE Edited by Ug_lee on Wednesday 14th July 13:51
I've seen those, they should be MWR. They're not bad design, but I think the primary tubes are a bit short, this engine is not a screamer as the 1.8 on the elise, is more of a torque engine...anyway, here'as a sneak peek of the exhaust we're working on. It's a prototype so some weldings are not as nice as they will be on the production version.
It has longer primaries with 3-1 manifolds, then two "sliding" pipes to garanteed longitudinal movement , a 2-1 merging pipe, a ball torsion-flex link, a HJS 100 cpsi metallic kat and a final exhaust which you can see the design in the picture. Tips will be available in different styles.
The lambda sensor wires will be lenghtened to reach the new kat, we've still have to find out if this arrangement will create any problem with emission lights etc.

long headers, metallic HJS cat, racing muffler
299,9 hp, no warning lights.
It's the prototype, so some details may change, but it's pretty much done.
What do you think?

I'm happy to announce that the exhaust is ready for sale!
You can fin all the info and some nice pictures on the Supersprint site, prices etc.
It'll be available from our distributors or for direct sale for country without one.
Dynos will be uploaded today or tomorrow, as engine sound videos. Enjoy!
