That would be mighty impressive. That's faster than a Murcielago, Zonda or Koenigsegg.

It'll be interesting to see the times, particularly in relation to the usual suspects of Cayman/Boxster.

I'll go out on a limb and say quicker than the Cayman around that little twisty track. I'll have my hat salted 'n' peppered and ready to eat come Sunday tea time...!

If I wanted to race an Evora it would be important how quick it was around the top gear track, same as the Ring. A car on the track is so different to one on the road that what is good on one definitely is not good on the other. I think James May hit the nail on the head when he said the Ring had ruined many good cars.

Also how much do the manufacturers cheat? I used to work for a company that put a car on the top gear track and we were way off standard spec. For sure you will over fuel the car massively, if its a turbo the boost will be turned way up. If you can drop the ride heights you will do. You could put tyre preperation on to give more grip, the list just goes on.

Having said all that I will be very interested to see how it goes. To tell the truth it will be nice to see some shots of the car moving.

Just curious but which cars are great fun to drive around the 'ring but not also good fun on the A543?

Same here, certainly more interesting than the jokey schumi lap at the end. And our lord on a bmx, isn't JC a hamfisted bugger - showing the delicate feel and sensitive steering by looning around as if he's in sainsburies car park. Disappointing I thought.

Actually I thought the review was positive and seeing it actually move detracts from the lines. It looked ok!

I'm not buying one so it doesnt bother me either way if it was slower or faster than anything!!!

the time looked pretty good to me, more to the point it would have been interesting to see what it looked like when driven fast by someone who wasn't just pratting about.

I'm no car expert, but I can't see why is should be faster than an Exige S, bigger engine, but much heavier and it's not a track oriented car.
