Why don’t you bring it to the attention of the Dealer Principals concerned? A customer should never be treated like that.

Jamie at Bell & Colvill is excellent-I’ve bought two cars from them dealing with him and he’s never been less than helpful, attentive, patient and diligent.

Was one of your contacts with a dealership in close proximity to a race circuit by chance…?

Decided if they don't want my money then I'm sure someone will. Complaining to the DP from experience tends to get mixed results and Dealerships tend to close ranks publicly (even if they deal with the issues behind closed doors).

Based on this show they have no chance selling the Emira.

I have contacts at Lotus so will pick it up with them direct, but suspect they know the challenges.

How many more of these threads are you going to start, isn't the one enough?

Perhaps if you keep getting the brush off you might consider your own attitude.

Why would you bother with the hassle of using the dealers then?

Wow, so I buy a lot of cars and expect service. Sadly this doesnt appear to be the case for BMW or Mini at the moment, but also it appears for Lotus. To blame the patient for being unwell is somewhat unfair. Having considered your response I will delete this thread and deal with it offline.

Go to Jamie at Bell and Colvill. Honestly, he's a great guy. A genuine enthusiast, he knows the products inside out and doesn't spin the usual bull.

I assume it wasn’t Cameron I spoke to when I enquired about an Exige they were selling a few months ago. The chap openly admitted he didn’t know about the car. He also said I couldn’t test drive it in any shape of form due to covid, so I would literally have to buy the car before I could drive it. I have heard of another similar experience there too.

100% Jamie at Bell and Colvill.

They are in no way local to me, but the experience was fantastic.

A really genuine nice person.
