I'm guessing that the reversing camera is like many parts in the Evora and is sourced form some other car.

Does anyone know what it's actually from??

Or indeed does anyone know what the make and model of the camera actually is?

I know I can potentially use any camera but if I can get the correct one I can re-use the existing wiring rather than having to rip out half of the interior to get the different wiring for the new one to the back of the head unit.

I think it depends on what head unit your car has.

Mine has an Alpine head unit, which interfaces with an Alpine module tucked away I think under or around the rear seat, then to the reverse camera. I know some model-years have Pioneer ICE, but I don't know about those.

I had to have my camera replaced a couple of years ago under warranty, so Alpine replacements are certainly available; I don't think the system is taken from another car per se.

edit - just checked the worksheet from when my camera was replaced; the part number was A132M6086F, but looks to no longer be available and has been replaced with A132M6238F; about £200.

Thanks

The head unit has been replaced with one with CarPlay so I’ll probably just check the make of the head unit and order a compatible camera that will fit

No Problem!

I also had my car upgraded with a CarPlay head unit; I went with the Alpine ILX-700. It was a straight swap with the original that came with the car, and the reverse camera worked straight away without any other changes.

Hope that helps,
