I'd pay £4k more and buy their white one with 1/3 of the mileage. You'll see most of that back come resale whereas the grey one will roll over 80k miles in no time and be a bugger to ever sell.
Thanks, the car is unlikely to be sold for a VERY long time, but certainly a consideration.Think I probably need to save a bit longer.
Plus still arguing Cayman versus Evora (apologies and await a barrage of abuse!). The non exploding 987 Cayman's fit neatly into the same price bracket as this. Still need to get a test drive in an Evora to really compare.
Evora NA 2+2 (might settle for a 2+0 if the right one came along)
Currently the budget is £15K, rising as I clear off existing loans.
If the right one came along at the right money I could currently go higher but it would have to be a "unmissable bargain"
By Spring I am hoping to be in the £25-30K region
Partly why I have also been looking at Cayman's, could get the new toy earlier!
I shall keep looking. When I have a more realistic budget I will look a lot harder.

Is the £15k a typo? Because at that price, you won’t find an Evora anywhere. Not even a starship mileage, cat c/d car. You would even struggle to find a crashed car at that price. Your £25/30k level is much more realistic.

I’m still not sure where you’re getting your pricing from, I’m afraid.
There was a 100k Persian Blue car that sold a couple of times last year for £24k+. That’s still a long way away from £15k...
(Have a look through the ‘How long until a £20k Evora? thread below. We’re nowhere near £20k, let alone £15k!)

I am not getting my pricing from anywhere, all I have said is what I currently have and what I expect to have. There was a 100k Persian Blue car that sold a couple of times last year for £24k+. That’s still a long way away from £15k...

I currently don't have enough, I expect to have enough for a lower end car later on.
