No Evoras at the NEC show...

Went to the NEC show last weekend and although there were plenty of Lotus's around, damned if I could see any Evoras.

I was due to go with Sporting Bears but couldn't make it in the end.

But seriously, plenty of new cars there as well on some stands, including some of the new Lotus', Jags, etc.

We've exhibited there for the last 5 years out of 6 (skipped this year due to an awful stand location) and try to stick to the ethos of the show, classics, as we think that's what people go there to see. The most modern car we've even shown was Bahar's Esprit which was 10 years old at the time, but unarguably a part of a classic bloodline.

Personally, despite us being a Lotus club, I think the Evora isn't yet a classic and don't think the new Exige which one of the stands had was particularly appropriate for the show either.

There are other shows and events which showcase these cars better, just not the Classic Car Show IMO.
