Was hoping to use the car as the weather is still good but Lipscomb have had it for 2 weeks now just to sort out a few minor issues post purchase .
On the plus side they have fitted new discs and pads to sort out the brake judder and new interior handles that we're becoming loose.
They weren't happy with one of the previous refurb wheels so kept for another week to sort it .
I am getting withdrawal symptoms so please hurry up !
Hope to see some of you at the last Hare meeting in Chelmsford on Saturday maybe ?
Assuming I get it back Friday ! ( otherwise i will be turning up there in the Volvo loan car )

Going to Silverstone, Porsche centre for the PH SS 13th?
Would be nice to meet some fellow real Evora owners. We seem to be a rare breed.
Went to the AM and RR Sunday Services and was the only Evora there. On a positive note it does mean they put you in the VIP car park!Would be nice to meet some fellow real Evora owners. We seem to be a rare breed.

I am not far away, what time are you planning to get there as always nice to do a bit of Porsche baiting? I went over to Silverstone on Tuesday and there was some guy test driving a Cayman S who decided to take a pop at the Evora. Even against an NA the Cayman is no quicker on the straight in real terms and unfortunately did not help the driver grow any testicles when it comes to braking.Would be nice to meet some fellow real Evora owners. We seem to be a rare breed.
If you are there see if they will take you out around the track in a Panamera, great for an abject lesson in terminal understeer.
cheers

Would do but will be test driving the Exige V6 at Strattons....will let you know my thoughts, but the Evora is going to be a tough act to follow, and I suspect that on the road, the Evora is miles better, but I do like my track fun where the Exige will excel, but will it be any more fun on a track is debatable?...obviously the other route is to upgrade the Evora in a number of ways.
