Hello,

Just a quicke, I'm in the early days if considering an Evora (and I'm pretty bloody excited), but before I get my heart set on one I thought I'd best check that I will fit.

I will go and see one/drive one ASAP but no point if they are tiny.

So I'm 6'6 tall and about 19 stone.

I also just came from a 370z and I'm a little concerned that as its only got 276 bhp it may feel a bit underpowered, opinions on this please? (I'd love an Evora S but budget won't stretch unfortunately.

Thanks :-)

Yes I think you will.

I am 6'2 and don't have the seat all the way back on the runners.

Sure you`ll fit alright, but you might struggle getting in and out, but you`ll find it is worth it....you`ll need a close ration gearbox...it`s not that close really, and you can do some worthwhile mods to the exhaust to make it more lively if needed.

Only one way to find out...go to a dealer and sit in one!

I don't think it will feel underpowered at all, I'd imagine it's much lighter than the Nissan and as it handles much better you'll be able to hit the bends with much more speed. Make sure you get one with the sport button, it tightens the throttle right up and feels much faster and sharper. I used to stall mine when not in sport quite often too.

Once inside, the Evora has heaps of space.

I was looking at a GTR recently, and actually ended up having a look arid the 370Z aswell. Easier to get in, but I found the legroom extremely tight..

GTR!! Traitor, you could not want for a more different vehicle....must admit, their stats are fantastic, and buck per pound, unbeatable....but virtually everyone I talk to about them says they are fantastic if you like computer games, and the fun lasts about 2-3 seconds, beyond which you`ll loose your liscence! Good to try one though, my mate keeps on badgering me to do so...they are his dream car....but he also likes driving lorries?

Surprised you have not gone for a higher spec 911, the motoring press rave about them all the time?

Ok I will go and see one, take it for a spin and see how I get on.

I'm keen on these two, thoughts?

Both have the relevant packs, both have the red leather and both look brilliant outside too.

I have had a look around the white car, a very nice example it is too.

The red interior is very much an acquired taste, in the flesh it does not look like it does in the pictures on that white one. I normally don't mind a bit of colour in the interior but the evora red (or pink) isn't for all!! Oh and yes, once your in, there is loads of space, I'm 6"2 and dont have my seat anywhere near the full way back!!

I do realise that the red is nowhere near as bright as it is in the picture of the white car, must have just been a freak photo

Would you say this is a fair representation of the real colour?

I'm 6'5" and 110kg with long legs and have no problems getting comfortable, although you do feel a little high in relation to the screen. I've driven it to Spa and back and been totally fine.

My car is this colour and I would say that yes it is a fair representation in bright sunlight

Yes, that is a fair shot, not for me but plenty of people seem to have it.
