I believe it's one of the cars in the Lotus press fleet: http://www.topgear.nl/autotests/lotus-evora-s-spor...

The four press fleet Exige S Roadsters are AU13BH? plates as well.

Interesting. Responsible for the worst display of driving I've ever seen this afternoon. On the M40 weaving from the inside to the outside lane in heavy traffic, causing a few daydreamers to slam on in heavy traffic. We must have gone different ways round Birmimgham as he popped up behind me 70 miles later in Shropshire. It did sound very nice as it overtook me, over double white lines, on a blind bend. Then did the same to the queue of traffic in front of me on another blind bend, and the tanker in front of them on another blind bend, forcing oncoming traffic to stop.

I wonder if it was on a media test drive? I'd say it was being driven at 9/10ths, on the public road, on a busy Friday afternoon. It warranted a call to the police.

Was it a Sports Racer or 'normal' S?

If it is a press car then Lotus will know who was in possession of it at that time.

Someone should have a word with them. This is bad PR for Lotus and, indeed, for everyone.

Seeing a sportscar being driven irresponsibly is not what anyone needs in this day and age. Had he crashed and injured people, this would be Daily Mail material.

Really, someone should flag this with Lotus IMO.

Done.

If it's someone internal they'll be given a talking to or even an internal re-test. Common practice for Lotus drivers to shop any rubbish driving in product they've seen and there is always follow up.

Journo's are typically spoken to a bit more politely but it's still not ignored.

Chaps, I was concerned enough to make Lotus aware of the issue. It was one of their cars, and suffice to say "the matter has been resolved and the offender suitably punished".

Give them their due, Lotus were very concerned and acted very quickly to make sure it won't happen again.
