Evora S weight
Discussion
There have been various comments about the S and non S weight, and some of which have not made sense.
Anyhow a mate of mine has access to a very recently calibrated commercial weighbridge so weighed my car with me in it and half a tank of fuel and it was 1480kgs...so no me and no fuel and its about 1370-80Kgs..with oils and fluids.
Makes more sense because the non S in supposed to be 1350Kgs.
Anyone had any problems with windowns not closing fully when closing the door? Just had it serviced and it was alright and its a pain to go back to garage for what might be something very simple. Seem to remember reading about this before?

Instructions in the manual for reseting them I think - wind them all the way down and hold the button for 3 seconds, then all the way up and hold it for 3 seconds again. Should reset them so they go all the way up again.Sumshi said:
My 59 plate launch edition weighed in at 1399 kilos 267 bhp gives 191 bhp per ton less than my 111s S1 729 kilos ( no roof ) 146 bhp = 200 bhp per ton
Add a 70kg driver to those cars and their ratios are virtually the same at around 180hp/ton.

Lotus claim 276 - actual on rolling road 267.1 Both cars tested for bhp and weight on the same kit for each test
I wouldn't take a rolling road dyno TOO seriously to be honest. Hub pack one like at TDI is more accurate but their are lots of things that can have an affect on the figures. That 267bhp is an estimate, not a measurement. All the cars on that day measured a little lower than you might expect.
