...just had my Evora detailed this week to get a paint protection done and a few imperfections taken care of...

The results are rather nice... biggrin

(Pics might be a bit boring - just a nice, shiny car...)

More than agreed on that! I'm planning of changing them to aftermarket ones once my warrantee is up - or may just recolour them. Just another little job to do... tongue out

I would probably go with something similar to the Team Dynamic's 5 spoke 18-19" ones I have on my Sag.

Those look very cool and very resistant to buckling or similar mishaps. Need to look around and see what works best with the Evora styling, but 5 stokes + ebony I think are a good starting place.

Wheel measurements need to match are...
19" front
20" back

...and get the resin wheel badges from here or ebay...

Or maybe not. Not sure those work so well. Need the car to see...

Lotus evora optional wheels look... err yes... moving on...

You can get your current wheels in Stealth Grey as well. http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Wheels_and_tyres_-_Evora

Otherwise the wheel options look fairly limited? If anyone knows any good third party ones which fit then let me know and I'll add them to the page.

I saw Lotus Racing have 5-stud versions of the centre-lock wheels from the Evora GT4 now.

The wheels Lotus do are here - http://configurator.lotuscars.com/evora

As you can see they are a bit lack luster.

It's that time of year again for the Evora to have a little clean, paint protection and detail.

Just had Rob Leys (www.gleammachine.net) come down for most of the day cleaning, polishing
and being his usual great self and now she's looking great!

Great job as usual! tongue out

looks great. Think I need to get mine done as the paintwork has lots of tiny scratches on it (and being black does not help).

What sort of price do people useually pay for a full polish? I detial my car twice a year but I have not been brave enough to put a machine polisher on it and get the scratches out.

Machine polishing is actually quite easy. A decent detail will cost £200-£1k but you might aswell buy all the kit for the £200 and give it a go.

Just start with a light cut polish/pad and work up smile

thanks for the advice, I think they have some good info on the detailing forum so may well give it a go.
