Hi folks

I'm looking to insure my new Lotus Evora IPS and was wondering who are the recommended insurers that people usually use for these cars?

Any suggestions or thoughts greatfully received.

Thanks!

Henderson Taylor have been good for me- S1, 2-11, Evora S and a couple of Bimmers.

Try CCI. I have been with them with Elises and now Evora. Sub £500 for 5k miles

Elephant for me, although the Evora was dearer than almost every other car I could find

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try those in the new year and see what they can do. I'm intending the Evora for a daily driver, so should be interesting to see what the prices are.

I went through through the brokers "A Plan" when I got my first Esprit 8 years ago and have stuck with them. Customer service has been excellent and the quotes they have found always competitive. In fact, at my last renewal they informed me that my existing insurer had 'left the market' so provided another quote. After we spoke, they suggested they go back to the original insurer and ask them to reconsider as the policy was very attractive. The insurer relented and decided to stick with existing customers but not underwrite any new business and although the premium had gone up it was still cheaper than the alternatives.

I now have 3 cars insured through them and my home and contents insurance as well. They have access to all the major insurance companies and a few more besides. If you try them, ask to speak to Henry and tell him I sent you.
