Soon, because they are not selling many, I guess sept time.
Should see the 2nd hand market dip to 30k by then also which is good news for people who talk alot but don't buy,
We will then see if people start buying 2nd hand Evora's, who have been singing their prases or if it was just talk.
There are a lot for sale 2nd hand starting from 37k now fully loaded.
But the fan boys are still not buying them yet.......

my concern is as the secondary market is simply non existent, how do you resell one after a year of ownership ? there doesn't seem to be an exit w/o taking a big hit back to a dealer ??? still, at the right price (which isn't here just yet imho) they make sense - dynamically its a fine car .
v curious to see the new face lift which would take it to the next level , especially as its being lead by an italian and hurrarrh for that

I have to admit, I can't get over spending 25k on a car, new or otherwise. It's a psychological thing I suppose, seeing a big lump of cash disappearing each month.
When the Evora hits that mark - this time next year possibly? Then my current car will be sold for an Evora ( no back seats and all the interior packs, hopefully in Oyster and Black interior and don't mind the exterior colour - hopefully a blue.)

reading elsewhere theyve already hit their sales target, over 2000 cars sold, and nearly 100 for sale in the UK alone, so someones buying them
when the convertible arrives, im sure that will help sales too ...
3 years old £30K cars shouldnt be out of the question im sure...

the target for the UK market is only 100 cars?
could believe it is that was a per month figure, but PA that's laughable
just looking at SMMT's figures, Lotus May registrations was only 30 cars (200 YTD), and that includes factory cars and dealer demo's etc.

Without wishing to sound mean, the phrase 'dream on' springs to mind. When the Evora hits that mark - this time next year possibly?
Why on earth would an evora be the same price as a 6 year old exige anytime soon (a car that was far cheaper and in a much lower price sector to start with). I know the first 24 months of deprecation might seem encouraging but a teeny weeny 25k in the next few years is cloud cuckoo IMO.

There are no plans for a restyling of the Evora any time soon and improved quality interior is part and parcel of continued production.
Thank you. May I ask how you know there will be no restyling when the CEO is on record criticizing the current car as weak in that area. The web and Car magazine and Topgear have all interpreted what he said as indicating a restyled car would appear before years end. I know everyone will say all these sources are unreliable, but the strength and breadth of this opinion was difficult to ignore. Your quote above seemed to come with a tone of knowledge and authority and so I was compelled to ask how you are so sure a restyle is not on the cards. mrdemon said:
then they are not going to sell many then :-)
LOL!I'll be honest the Evora S is an amazing package for the money, essentially you get a car that can compete with a lot of far faster machinery on track but with the heritage etc of Lotus. I'll admit the standard car should have been launched cheaper with all the Issue's sorted but the engineer's are going a long way to resolve these now, price point is an Issue but that's what they cost to build so they are a little stuck, we want to keep the brand in Brittan so there’s little else they can do

Will take some convincing to believe that.... (when you consider how many other global payers are currently ramping up UK production)Scuffers said:

Can see what you’re saying Simon, suppose they will have to stream line production, bargain harder when buying components and try to get the price point downBoggy
