Had them before on the outside of my little toe, a good soaking and a rub with a pumice stone did the trick then. Now I have another, this time on the right side if my middle toe, so a bit more awkward to do the same and this one REALLY hurts.

I know the main cause is poorly fitted shoes. I've always been a size 9 and try to buy the best shoes I can afford. I rarely wear dress shoes and seem to live in trainers/pumps.

Any tips to get rid and stop them reoccurring? I walk a lot (15-20k steps a day), but right now it gets painful quickly even with a corn plaster on it.

Thank you.

I normally wear Nike Air trainers or Vans/Converse, always with socks.

I will give surgical spirits a go.
