Could be due to additives used in a lot of red wines, I know someone who sneezes loads about 10 mins after drinking red wine that has sulphites in it. Without he is fine. Same as those who end up with flushed looking necks/ faces after drinking it. Why the additives would cause these reactions I have no idea!

I get this and always assumed it was some kind of reaction to alcohol as opposed to anything else in it. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when I get this happen.

To be honest I was going by a couple of friends who stopped drinking red wine due to the facial flushes it caused them, yet they could drink other forms of alcohol and my Mums knowledge of wines after yrs of working in the industry. I'd have no reason or expertise to doubt that some will react in a similar way to many types of alcohol.
