Hi all,

While shaving the other day I noticed a slight raised area on my groin (right hand side), I felt both side they feel very similar except the right hand side is a little sore and feels more like a boil. It is on the tendon (I think).

Some information.

I work in a hot country, working outside so I sweat quite a bit, I do shower twice a day though.
I shave around that area.
I smoke and drink.
I am 19.

I am going for a check up this afternoon, just to rest my mind, I don't think it is anything. I am more trying to convince myself it isn't anything.

Can anyone rest my mind before I go. I'm a little bit worried about what the Doc is going to say.

So if anyone has any ideas please post.

If you shave down there it's probably going to be an ingrown hair/boil.

Try to keep the area clean, you can try using mag sulphate paste under a plaster to draw out the pus/hair.

Just got back and it's just an infection. Relieved in two ways, one it's nothing to worry about and two relieved of £40 for 5 minutes check up gotta go get the perscription after the weekend.
